Get Involved

GET INVOLVED.

There are many ways to get involved in the Educational Foundation of Foundation.  You can donate directly to the foundation, participate in foundation events, or support our school in their projects.  There are numerous opportunities for community, alumni, staff, students, and more.  Thank you for considering how you can support our local students and teachers!

Community, Alumni, Staff Students

Community

Community is one of the most important things to the Birchwood School and the Birchwood Educational Foundation! Community members can get involved in many ways. Donate your time to help with our fundraising events. We are always looking for helping hands. Donate your mind, give us your ideas on fundraising and ways that we can make our foundation better. Donate products or services to our fundraising events in the form of silent or live auction items or donations promoting your business. Donate CASH by becoming a hole sponsor, golf outing sponsor or simply gifting cash.

Alumni

Stay connected through the Education Foundation to your Alma Mater. This is a great way to stay involved from near or far.  Contact a foundation board member to become more involved.

Educators

Submit your proposals through the Foundation’s Competitive Educational Grant Program by October 15th of each year to ensure your request for funding is reviewed for approval. Contact Diane Johnson for grant guidelines and application requirements.

Students

Apply to be the foundation’s annual student representative. Each year a deserving student is chosen to represent the school on our foundation board. Watch for a foundation board member coming to speak to the Junior Class to explain the application process at the school each spring. The successful completion of one year on the board rewards the student with a grant for further education.
